Building an economy that is fueled by renewable energy is one of the biggest challenges facing this state and nation. In all elections, voters play a key role by electing leaders that will fight for a clean-energy future.

Vote Clean Energy NY is committed to:

• Educating voters about why clean energy is critical for New York State’s economic recovery;
• Encouraging voters to find out what candidates are saying about clean energy; and
• Urging voters to let candidates know where they stand.

Vote Clean Energy NY is a project of the New York League of Conservation Voters Education Fund.

Based in New York City and working through local chapters throughout the state, NYLCVEF educates and engages New Yorkers on environmental issues and the environmental decision-making processes at the local, regional and state government levels. NYLCVEF fosters open, nonpartisan discussion on environmental policy and empowers New Yorkers to be effective advocates on behalf of the environment.
